Chairman-NCASL

I am privilege and honoured to write this message as the Chairman of the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) during the first term of my office, on the occasion when the Association is holding the Sri Lanka’s most sought and the largest Construction related Exhibition, aptly themed “Together We Can Build”, on August 18, 19 & 20, 2023 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Centre, BMICH. Construct is a highly recognized construction related exhibition encapsulating the latest state-of-the-art technologies and products used in the industry. I believe the “Construct 2023” will be a unique concept for promoting and creating links amongst the stake holders in the industry and be a vibrant networking platform and resource centre for the construction industry related players in the South Asian region. The objective of the NCASL is to develop the domestic construction industry by introducing world class products and services. Participants at this exhibition will be able to view all aspects in construction and infrastructure development including the smallest component to the heavy machinery and equipment and gain substantial knowledge and awareness to improve and enhance their construction projects. This year we have unprecedented number of stalls and I am sure that the exhibition will draw large crowds to view the exhibition due to its high quality and excellence. I am also thankful to the exhibitors for exposing the latest global trends in the construction field at the exhibition which would immensely benefit the contractors to be in par with the global competitors. Power behind the “Construct 2023” is the Chairman and the members of the Organizing Committee who have been working tirelessly ignoring their business activities, ably supported by the Secretariat staff to make Construct 2023 a resounding success as in the past. I also take this opportunity to thank the sponsors, exhibitors and all those who have played a role in organizing the exhibition with their whole heated support. I sincerely wish “Construct 2023” all success.
